Every year during President’s Day week my husband and I take a ski trip. This year, we decided to go to Colorado. We rented a condo in Breckenridge and explored three different ski resorts: Breckenridge, Keystone, and Vail. I enjoyed them all but one truly stood out to me – Breckenridge. I must say that skiing at Breckenridge was amazing!

Taking the bus
After hearing great things about the Breckenridge bus system, we decided to take a bus on our second day at the ski resort. We had a condo along Boreas Road, about 7 minutes away from the gondola, and the bus stop was just outside. So, it was quick and easy, and definitely convenient. The schedule is well marked and buses run multiple times a day every 15-30 minutes. The system is very well designed and different lines operate different routes. Consequently, you are never on the bus for long. The buses are free and drop you off by the gondola. They also stop at a variety of locations downtown, so you don’t need to worry about needing a car in town.
